Bravo and Tiwary is out Mumbai Indians Win the Toss and Elected Field

LT20 2010 got underway with Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar winning the toss and electing to field first.
Earlier, speaking to Ravi Shastri, Shaun Pollock an expert of South African conditions, said of the Wanderers pitch, “There would be early swing for the pacers. It is a good batting surface, but slightly on the slower side. Initially it would be difficult for the batsmen but once they get in it could go a little over 150, but 150 would be a par score.”
Captain Speak:

Sachin Tendulkar (Mumbai Indians):  On being asked as to why he chose to bowl Sachin said, “The side batting second have done better. We want to stick to that.” Also on team composition, “We were forced to leave out Saurabh Tiwary, he had a niggle. We have brought in Ali Murtaza."
Alviro Petersen (Highveld Lions): On his team’s preparation, “Our team are very ready. We have spent a lot of time in the winter preparing for this event.” On playing in front of their home crowd, “There is always going to be pressure in cricket, but we are going to play to win.”
