England All rounder Andrew Fintoff announced retirement from all formats

England former captain and all rounder Andrew Flintoff announced his retirement from all cricket formats after giving in to his long standing on knee injury. He announced the retirement news on Thursday.                        

“It is with both disappointment and sadness that I am today announcing my retirement from all forms of cricket,” this statement was released by his agents International Sports Management.

“This decision will end my career. This thought comes on my mind yesterday after consultation with medical advisers”  added the 32 year old allrounder. He was retired from test cricket when England defeated Australia in ashes series last year.

He told that he tried lot for overcome his injury and come back into team. But he mentioned his body not supporting to more. He has no option but retire.

“I would like to thank my family, Lancashire Cricket Club, England, all my sponsors, friends and advisers for all the help and support they have given me throughout my career.”

“ Last, but bu no means least, I am indebted to the encouragement and support I hve always received from England’s magnificent supporters.”

Fintoff inspiration in cricket from the England mainly Former skippers Michel Atherton, Nasser Hussain and Michel Vaguhan bu pursuing a media career. He played the last match with Australia in Ashes series last year. Since he didn’t played any match.

He has the contracts with Lancashire and  Domestic T20 cricket for Australian state side Queensland and Indian Premier League in Chennai Super Kings.

Fintoff is face bowling and Hrad hitting batsman. He was played 79 test matches for England. He was played first match at the age of 20 years against South Africa in Trent Bridge in 1998.

In test matches as bowler he took 226 wickets and scored 3,845 runs with 5 hundreds
Including 167 runs his career best against West Indies at Edgbaston in 2004. He was exposed when the England team under Michel Vaughan’s Captaincy. They gained Ashes that time (2005).

Flintoff only the second player after Ian Botham scored 400 above runs and took above 20 wickets in Ashes series.As a captain of England team he has very bad record. England loss the Ashes series to Australia by 0-5 in the year of 2006.

Flintoff Stripped of the England vice Captaincy when he had the late night drinking and car accident in Caribbean. Even though he had few memorable incidents in his life is He took 5 wicket hual in ashes that helped England earned the ashes series.

In the last year ashes series last test match Ricky Ponting ran out by direct hit.
